How The LG PuriCare 360° Air Purifiers with Safe Plus Filter™ Can Be The Optimal Home Purifiers

If you’re looking for an air purifier for your home, but are confused by all the options out there, I’m with you! With all the different specifications to look out for, it can be a challenge to find an air purifier that fulfils your needs. Well, today, we’ll be looking at the new PuriCare™ 360° with Safe Plus Filter™ air purifiers from LG, and maybe you may just be one step closer to finding the right air purifier for you and your home!

First up, there are two filters in the air purifiers: the Safe Plus HEPA Filter which can remove 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, dust particles and allergens, as well as the Deodorisation Filter which eliminates harmful gases like ammonia, formaldehyde and more.

To further put your mind at ease, LG has even included the Plasmaster+ Ionizer which helps to reduce toxic viruses and bacteria. For example, tests have indicated that the salmonella bacteria was eliminated by 98%, dust mite allergens were eliminated by 96.1% and the H1N1 virus was eliminated by 96% in 120 minutes.

Now there are two models: one with a double tower and the other with a single tower. The main difference is that the double tower option has two sets of filters, double intake and can purify a larger area. There’s also a fan in the middle of the double tower for Baby Care mode, which delivers purified air close to the ground, making it highly beneficial for those with young ones at home.

But rest assured that both the single and double towers take in air from the whole 360° area for purification and clean air is also delivered in all directions thanks to the 360° Direct Fan, so clean air can be delivered up to 7.5m away with the Clean Booster mode turned on.

Colour-coded indicators make for easy recognition of the air quality in your home. The colours are red, orange, yellow and green. The interior PM1.0 sensor detecting system will automatically detect and denote the quality of indoor air from good to poor.

But let’s say you’re out at work and you want to come home to clean air. You can’t possibly leave your air purifier on the whole day, and you won’t need to. LG’s ThinQ app allows you to check pollution levels around the air purifier at any time, and even remotely turn on the air purifier so that the air at home will be clean when you get back!

The single tower air purifier retails for S$899 while the double tower goes for S$1,499, and they can be found at LG’s stores on Lazada and Shopee, LG KrisShop and authorized retailers, Best Denki, COURTS, Harvey Norman and Mega Discount.

So now which is best suited for you? Well, if you’re a parent, you’d probably want to invest in the double tower, so your kids can also get clean air when they’re playing with their toys while on the floor. Aside from that, people with larger homes will benefit from the larger coverage area of 100 square metres as well. Otherwise, the single tower works very well for couples or even for smaller homes that might be around 62 square metres.
