MSI’s Claw Gaming Handheld, AI-Powered PCs Now Available in Singapore

The Taiwanese PC maker has officially released the Claw, the world's first Meteor Lake-powered handheld gaming PC, alongside a range of artificial intelligence-ready laptops with refreshed specs.

First, the Claw is a new gaming handheld powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and advanced XeSS tech, which MSI promises can deliver smooth performance even in demanding AAA games. The device additionally features the tech giant's HyperFlow cooling system and a sizable 53Wh battery that can last about two hours. It also has an ergonomic design to provide a comfortable and intuitive gaming experience for different hand sizes. Other key features include a 7-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and Windows 11 support.


There are two variants of the device in the market. The more affordable option houses a Core Ultra 5 135H processor and 512GB of SSD storage and goes for S$1,069, while the top-end option houses the faster Core Ultra 7 155H processor and 1TB of SSD storage and goes for S$1,299.


Titan 18 HX A14V

If a gaming laptop is what you're after, MSI has the Titan 18 HX A14V, which comes equipped with an Intel Core i9 14900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. That should give the machine enough performance and graphical power to run the latest games while maintaining steady frame rates. What's more, the Titan 18 HX features the biggest new vapour chamber cooler thermal solution in the market and supports MSI OverBoost Ultra, delivering up to 270W total power. It also sports a 4K 120Hz mini LED display, delivering high resolution visuals, DisplayHDR 1000 and a wide colour gamut coverage.


The Titan 18 HX A14V is out now for a retail price of S$9,099.


Raider GE78 HX 14V

The Raider GE78 HX 14V, meanwhile, is a sort of a downgraded version of the Titan 18 HX. It similarly houses an Intel Core i9 processor 14900HX but instead of an RTX 4090, it has an RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. For its display, it has a 17-inch QHD+ panel, which supports up to 240Hz refresh rates. It's also cooled by MSI's own thermal solution, Cooler Boost 5, which has two fans and six heat pipes.


The Raider GE78 HX14V is available now for a retail price of S$4,699.


Stealth 16 AI Studio

For a laptop that combines look with performance, the Stealth 16 AI Studio is perhaps the best choice. It can ship with up an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, all housed in a sleek and slim magnesium aluminum alloy chassis. There are also AI-powered features like MSI's AI Engine, which can automatically adjust settings to optimise performance, and AI Artist, which can generate images directly on your laptop. Other key features include a 16-inch QHD+ panel that supports up to 240Hz refresh rates, a 99.9Whr battery capacity and a six-speaker sound system.


The Stealth 16 AI Studio is out now for the starting price of S$5,399.


Cyborg 14

For gaming on a budget, MSI has the Cyborg 14, which is powered by up to an Intel® Core i7-13620H

processor and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. What this machine lacks for in raw performance power, it makes up for in portability, being 18.6mm thin and 1.6kg light. It also features an eye-catching translucent design, letting you see through parts of the keyboard and the chassis. Other key features include a 14-inch FHD panel and support for high resolution audio.


The Cyborg 14 is out now with a retail price of S$1999.


Thin 15 B12U

The Thin 15 B12U is another gaming-ready thin and light laptop. It houses up to an Intel Core i7-12650H processor paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series Laptop GPUs. Its display flaunts thin bezels, maximising what the panel's real estate. In case that's not enough, you can use the Matrix Display feature, which supports up to two extra displays with USB-C and HDMI connections. It also includes MSI App Player, allowing you to seamlessly game between mobile and PC.


The Thin 15 B12U is out now with a retail price of S$1,429.


Summit E13 AI Evo

The Summit E13 AI Evo is a two-in-one laptop that brings a premium mobile PC experience, as MSI touts. It features a CNC uni-body chassis, meaning it doesn't only look good but also ultra-light and ultra-slim. It's powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H and has the latest Intel Evo Edition certification, promising smooth and strong performance. Apart from these, it features a bunch of nifty AI experiences, including MSI AI Engine. The laptop also supports the use of the MSI Pen 2.


The Summit E13 AI Evo will be released on the 18th of March 2024, with a retail price of S$2,799.


Prestige 16 AI Evo

Lastly, the Prestige 16 AI Evo is what MSI hails as the best business laptop out there. It houses up to the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 155H, and like the Summit E13 AI Evo, has Intel Evo Edition certification. In addition, it has a 16:10, QHD+ panel with ultra-slim bezels, as well as a 99.99WHr battery capacity, making it a productivity powerhouse for when you're on-the-go. It also has Wi-Fi 7 support and Intel Arc graphics.


The Prestige 16 AI Evo is out now with a retail price of S$2,499.
