That being said, it is just about having a good panel; like all their other TVs, LG has worked hard to implement features that help enhance the overall visual experience; with Dolby Vision and HDR 10 Pro support, the LG C3 TV optimises every frame of your content, from movies to TV shows, bringing out the tiniest of details in the image and colours for a (almost) true-to-life experience. We also tried the FILMMAKER MODE™, which visualises movies in their purest form by turning off motion smoothing, preserving the original aspect ratios, colours and frame rates, so you can enjoy films just as directors intended.
The C3 comes loaded with the latest iteration of LG's webOS platform. The new Home menu provides easy visual reference and access to your apps, contents and services, including Quick Cards for remote work functionality and music streaming services. The AI Concierge takes personalisation to another level by recommending content based on your preferences, offering a range of helpful settings, from Eye Comfort mode to Multi-View mode. Pretty seamless in our experience with it, as we rarely have difficulty finding the function we're looking for.
With a thin, sleek side profile and (almost) non-existent bezels, it effortlessly blends into your living space, offering a stunning visual experience and looking pretty sick doing so. Additionally, it combos perfectly with the LG SC9S Soundbar, creating a seamless and integrated setup that will elevate the aesthetics of your home entertainment.
LG SC9S Soundbar
The LG SC9S Soundbar is designed to complement LG TVs, with a bracket designed for LG OLED C-Series TVs that allows for seamless installation, whether your TV is mounted on the wall or placed on a stand, ensuring a clean and uncluttered setup. The setup process and usage also reflect this seamless integration, with the C3 automatically detecting the Soundbar during setup and it's remote being able to control the Soundbar as well!
The SC9S Soundbar improves your audio experience with Multi-surround Sound Solution powered by DTS:X and Dolby Atmos, delivering an IMAX-enhanced, wider, richer sound with powerful and punchy bass. And with Triple Level Spatial Sound Technology, the Soundbar produces a refined surround sound replicating the theatre experience, adding depth and dimension to every note and effect.
Speaking of soundstage, WOW Orchestra is also an available feature that combines the TV's built-in sound with the Soundbar to expand the soundstage with improved height, depth and power, but do note that our office space is pretty cramped, so if you want to bring out the fullest potential of the soundstage, a proper living room or home theatre space would definitely be ideal.
AI-Powered Internals
The α9 AI Processor 4K Gen6 is the beating heart of the C3, providing better brightness and greater colour accuracy than its previous gen counterparts. This powerful processor uses AI Super Upscaling to bring incredible detail and clarity to every image. Working alongside that, AI Picture Pro uses a vast database of visual data points to recognise content, remove noise and optimise picture quality. And to add on, The OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro uncovers hidden details in dark scenes, while the HDR Expression Enhancer refines on-screen objects, making everything look better.

The HDMI 2.1 certification also allows for a display output of up to 4K 120FPS, so you are definitely all covered for your weekly Need for Speed runs!
