Xiaomi's founder, Lei Jun, faced an unexpected interruption during his live stream on Douyin to celebrate the end of the Year of the Dragon. Chinese media outlet IThome reported that a viewer reported Lei for streaming while driving. Lei had shared during the stream that deliveries of Xiaomi's SU7 vehicle had exceeded 150,000 units. However, at 1:48 p.m., his Douyin account was suddenly suspended after a user reported him at 1:36 p.m. for the violation, with a screenshot of the report circulating on social media. The video, posted at 1:44 p.m., seemed to show Lei driving while streaming.

The live stream resumed at 2:52 p.m. after an approximately one-hour suspension, and Lei's Douyin account is now back in operation without any issues. It's worth noting that the live stream was broadcasted on various platforms such as Bilibili, WeChat, Weibo, and Xiaohongshu, but only the Douyin stream was impacted by the suspension.
