Today we're going to be checking out the latest in the world of fitness bands—the Samsung Gear Fit 2. Now this device has all the standard features you want in a fitness band such as GPS tracking, activity tracking, and heart rate monitor.

But what I really like is this AMOLED screen on this, and then this black color—it's going to go with all my outfits. And if you pair it with your phone, you can get your phone notifications on this as well.

But unfortunately for iPhone users, this is not compatible with iOS. Now for those of you who like to go out and work out without your phone, this is one of the few in the market that allows you to store your songs inside.

This device is also dust and water-resistant with an IP68 rating, and that means it is just as water resistant as the Samsung S7. Now, I wouldn't go swimming in a pool with it, but you'll be fine just wearing it into the shower.

The device also auto-detects your activity, so you don't have to actually select the activity you're currently performing. So if you switch from yoga to the treadmill, it's going to know it by itself.

Once you pair this up with your Samsung phone, it connects to S Health and that allows you to sync up with popular fitness apps. One of the quirky little features this has also is that if you've been sitting idle for too long, it starts to prompt you to get up—move your butt!

To be honest, I really like this device. It is really sleek and it's so fashionable. If I had it, I would probably wear it every day. Unfortunately, you probably need a Samsung phone to realize its full potential.
