The filmmaker shared, "Mnemonade is a tribute to my grandmother, whose memories faded with dementia." Co-hosted by FBRC.AI and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Culver Cup challenged filmmakers to utilise 3D assets and AI tools like Luma’s Dream Machine and Playbook3D.
Competitions like the Culver Cup are becoming more common in the world of AI filmmaking. Platforms such as RunwayML and Curious Refuge offer similar contests, providing a stage for innovators like MetaPuppet. The runners-up, Krystal Trixx and Borys Kondratenko, presented visually stunning films exploring art, technology, and environmental collapse.
