Adidas has confirmed a data breach involving consumer contact information accessed through a third-party customer service provider.
The German sportswear company said an unauthorised external party obtained certain consumer data, though no passwords or credit card details were compromised.
Adidas stated it acted immediately to contain the incident and launched a full investigation with the help of information security experts.
