Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant, is set to launch its latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 4, with an exciting new feature - satellite communication. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China has recently granted the network access license for the Xiaomi Civi 4, identified by the model number 24031PN0DC. This license reveals Xiaomi's intention to equip the Civi 4 with satellite connectivity, in addition to its 5G support.

While specific details about the Civi 4's other specifications are still undisclosed, it is expected to be targeted towards the youth market in China. Tech blogger Smart Pikachu has revealed that the Civi 4 is scheduled to make its debut in May. This new addition to Xiaomi's Civi series is expected to compete with Huawei's Honor series, both of which are popular mid-range smartphones.

According to the performance benchmarking platform Geekbench, Xiaomi has the option to choose between two powerful chipsets for the Civi 4. They may opt for either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. Both chipsets are known for their impressive performance and efficiency, ensuring a smooth user experience.
