Womanizer Teams Up With Razer To Integrate Sensa HD Haptics in Future Pleasure Products
Razer is not limiting its immersive haptics technology to gaming products.
The gaming hardware maker is working with Womanizer, a pioneering brand in the sexual wellness industry, letting it integrate Sensa HD Haptics in its future pleasure products. The haptics technology brings advanced haptic feedback and sensory algorithms to Womanizer's products, which supposedly elevate them to new heights of customisation and sensory engagement.
"Razer Sensa HD Haptics is all about unparalleled haptics expressivity, the technology allows the creation of nuanced sensations where the device disappears, and touch sensations can be delivered at their best," comments Eric Vezzoli, Associate Director of Haptics at Razer.
Womanizer believes that the haptic technology can create entirely new ways to experience touch and stimulation by leveraging digitally designed experiences.
Currently, the brand's products are equipped with Pleasure Air Technology (PAT), which uses a combination of pulsating and massaging changes in air pressure to stimulate the clitoris without direct contact. They also feature Smart Silence, a highly responsive sensor that ensures products are only activated when they come into contact with the user's skin. The same feature also gives them the ability to enter standby mode as soon as they're removed from skin contact.
From extensive user research, we know that it is often very difficult for users to find the right words to describe what they are feeling and what they are seeking," explains Tobias Zegenhagen, Chief Product Officer at Womanizer. “By integrating Razer's technology into our product development, we aim to set a new standard for intimate pleasure products, offering users unprecedented levels of personalization, immersion, and sensation."
Razer previously integrated its Sensa HD Haptics technology in a gaming chair to enhance gamers' immersion in their gaming experiences. The tech can simulate the feel of explosions, footsteps and heartbeats through distinctive haptic feedback.
The first Womanizer product featuring Razer Sensa HD Haptics is slated to launch sometime this summer, though pricing details have yet to be revealed.
