Updated: Dec 18, 2023
Sony is gearing up to release a new line of PS5-connected products before the year ends and we're all for it. Kind of.

The Japanese electronics giant has shared more details about the new Remote Play-dedicated device, the PlayStation Portal, along with updates about some upcoming PlayStation audio devices, including how much they'll cost.
The PlayStation Portal is a dedicated remote player that can stream PS5 games via Remote Play. The handheld device, which was previously called Project Q, provides a new option for you to enjoy your PS5 games anywhere in your home as long you're connected on the same Wi-Fi as your PS5 console. It features an eight-inch LCD panel that outputs at 1080p resolution at 60Hz and does feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a Type-C port.

All games that are installed on your PS5 console and use the DualSense controller are supported, but PSVR2 games and games on PlayStation Plus Premium’s cloud streaming service aren't.
The PlayStation Portal is launching sometime in 2023 for the retail price of US$199.99.
Sony also shared details about the Pulse Elite and the Pulse Explore, two audio devices that are designed to enhance your gaming experience.
The Pulse Elite is a new wireless headset that delivers lossless audio and comes with a retractable boom mic and artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced noise rejection capabilities. The headset also comes with a charging hanger that makes for a convenient charging and storage option.
Meanwhile, the Pulse Explore is PlayStation first pair of wireless earbuds, featuring dual microphones and AI-enhanced noise rejection capabilities. It also delivers lossless audio and comes with a portable charging case.
Sony touts that both the Pulse Elite and the Pulse Explore use custom-designed planar magnetic drivers to elevate the listening experience to what you might find in premium audio devices.
The Pulse Elite is priced at US$149.99, while the Pulse Explore is priced at US$199.99. Sony has yet to reveal when the two are expected to hit store shelves.
