BMW Asia will be featuring their first Electric Sports Activity Vehicle, the BMW iX3 as well as the BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition in person and online at the #BMWWorldSG.

The BMW iX3 makes its first debut in Singapore, the first in ASEAN.

The digital showcase event can be accessed online from 15 January 2021 while the physical event will be held at Performance Motors Limited’s showroom (303 Alexandra Road, Singapore 159944) from 8:00AM on the same day.

BMW Group Asia’s Managing Director, Christopher Wehner, in a press release, said that the company has acquired an opportunity through the event to innovate and change how the company will engage with its customers. Both in-person and online setups will remind visitors of being in a motorshow, Wehner said. “Whether you visit us in person or online, you can walk through six different zones, participate in exciting games, and explore all that the BMW brand has to offer in Singapore.”

The German automobile company will also place the BMW 116i hatchback and BMW 530e, the plug-in hybrid electric variant of the new BMW 5 Series Sedan, in the event’s spotlight.

There is a Power of Choice zone at the physical event, in which visitors can see a selection of BMW X3 vehicle variants – petrol, plug-in hybrid electric and fully electric. You can also find out more about the cars in their digital showroom.

This was in fulfilment of BMW’s promise to provide customers in Singapore the ability to choose between the three variants for purchase, Wehner mentioned. He also added that when the third quarter of 2021 arrives, BMW will bring the fully electric BMW iX3 to Singapore.

The Joy Electrified Zone features the BMW 530e Sedan, BME 330e and the BMW i3s. All three of these cars were stated to demonstrate sustainable mobility in the BMW line-up.

Arnt Bayer, Managing Director of PML and PMA said that the event is the perfect chance to display the breadth and versatility of the BMW range which includes the BMW 116i hatchback and the BMW 530e Sedan.

Both the BMW 116i hatchback and BMW 530e Sedan feature driver assistance systems and the latest in connectivity with BMW Operating System 7.0.

Visitors who wish attend the event online can visit the digital showroom at https://bethefirst.bmw.com.sg/ where they can also experience the different zones as if they were visiting the event in person. Online visitors will also have the chance to participate in an online race simulator to win exclusive prises, unlock secret deals, request test drives, and make purchases from the BMW Lifestyle eShop.

#BMWWorldSG’s physical and digital showrooms are open to public till 19 February 2021.
