Stallholders at Kim San Leng Hawker Centre in Bishan noticed issues with the QR payment service at around 12.30pm. Diners were asked to pay with cash instead. Despite NETS announcing that services were back online, some individuals still encountered issues. Customers were advised to contact their banks for more information relating to their transactions.
DBS also posted on Facebook, notifying users that NETS-related services, including NETS QR Scan & Pay, were unavailable. A Facebook user mentioned missing out on a discount due to the service outage. NETS said its services were fully restored at 2.18pm and that it would work with banks to support the reconciliation process.
