Google will conduct a special event on August 13th to showcase AI technologies and improvements to Pixel devices and the Android platform. The event will be hosted at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, and will include a keynote lecture and hands-on product experience. Alphabet, Google's parent firm, has not issued any formal statements regarding the event.

The Verge and tech critic Marques Brownlee were the first to reveal the news, and they released the event invitations online.

The event will be held at Google's Mountain View headquarters, beginning with a keynote talk at 10 a.m. PT (5 p.m. GMT). Attendees will then have the opportunity to try out the new items firsthand during a "hands-on product experience" session, as seen in the invitation graphic.

As of now, Google's parent company, Alphabet, has made no official statements about the incident. However, it is worth mentioning that Google generally releases new Pixel smartphones and watches in the autumn, making this surprise event much more intriguing.

This news comes after rival tech giant Apple revealed a slew of revolutionary capabilities based on generative AI for its iPhones earlier this month.
