Alphabet's Google has launched its latest artificial intelligence model, Gemini 3, immediately integrating its new capabilities into several profit-generating products, including its search engine. The new model positions Google at the forefront of the artificial intelligence race.

Executives noted Gemini 3's leading performance across various industry leaderboards that measure AI model capabilities. Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer, described the model as Google's most intelligent.
The artificial intelligence landscape has increasingly shifted from performance benchmarks to applications generating revenue. Wall Street analysts are closely observing for indications of an AI bubble.
Alphabet's stock has seen support largely due to the financial success of its cloud computing division's artificial intelligence offerings. Even with major developers such as Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic, new AI model updates have faced challenges in distinguishing themselves.

Attention is often drawn only when these models experience failures, as Meta encountered earlier this year. Google highlighted that Gemini 3, unlike previous iterations, powers several revenue-generating consumer and enterprise products from its debut.
Koray Kavukcuoglu, Google's chief AI architect, informed reporters that Gemini has established a new rhythm for both releasing models and making them accessible faster than ever before. Mr. Pichai stated the Gemini 3 launch marks the first instance of Google incorporating its new model into its search engine from the first day.
Earlier versions of Gemini typically required weeks or months to embed into Google's most used products. Paying subscribers to Google's premium AI plan can access Gemini 3 features within AI Mode.
This search capability provides computer-generated answers for complex queries, moving beyond standard web results. Enhancements to Gemini 3 in areas like coding and reasoning have allowed Google to develop a suite of new features for both consumers and enterprise clients.
The company introduced Gemini Agent, a tool designed to complete multi-step tasks, including organising a user's inbox or arranging travel. Gemini Agent advances Google closer to Demis Hassabis, Google's AI chief, and his vision for a "universal assistant."
This concept has been referred to internally as AlphaAssist. Google also redesigned the Gemini app to deliver answers resembling a comprehensive website.
This development poses a further challenge for content publishers who depend on web traffic for revenue generation. Josh Woodward, Vice President overseeing the app, demonstrated how Gemini can now create an on-demand interface with visual and interactive elements when prompted to generate a Van Gogh gallery with life context for each piece.
For its business customers, Google showcased Antigravity, a new software development platform. This platform enables artificial intelligence agents to independently plan and execute coding tasks.
