FORM Smart Goggles Comes with Real-Time Feedback, Heart Rate Monitoring

FORM Smart Swim 2 goggles provide real-time feedback for improved swimming performance. Integrated heart rate sensor eliminates the need for separate monitoring devices. SwimStraight feature ensures swimmers maintain their intended direction.

Canadian company FORM has recently announced the launch of its second-generation smart swim goggles, the FORM Smart Swim 2. These innovative goggles are designed to enhance the swimming experience for both amateur swimmers and triathletes. With a bright heads-up display in the right lens, the Smart Swim 2 provides real-time feedback to help users swim at their best.

The FORM Smart Swim 2 goggles offer improved comfort and fit compared to the previous model. They feature new eye seals and have been reduced in size by 15%. Additionally, the goggles come with five different nose bridges to ensure a perfect fit for every user.

One of the major upgrades in the Smart Swim 2 is the integration of a heart rate sensor directly into the goggles. Unlike the first-generation model, which required a separate sensor, users can now track their heart rate in real time while swimming. This eliminates the need to stop and check a smartwatch or other device for this information. The heart rate data is displayed in bright green letters and numbers, floating ahead of the swimmer's field of vision, along with other important metrics such as time and pace.

The Smart Swim 2 also introduces SwimStraight, a digital compass feature that helps swimmers maintain their intended direction. While this may not be crucial for pool swimmers, it is a significant improvement for those swimming in open water. By swimming straight, swimmers can save energy and time, making it especially beneficial for competitive swimmers aiming to beat their records. The SwimStraight feature appears as a discreet guide on the heads-up display, providing subtle assistance to keep swimmers on track.

The FORM Smart Swim 2 goggles are equipped with the newly updated HeadCoach technology, which offers real-time access to features such as technique awareness. This feature is beneficial for all swimmers, helping them improve their swimming skills. It is worth noting that the upgraded HeadCoach features will also be available to users of the original Smart Swim goggles, now renamed Smart Swim 1.

The Smart Swim 2 is part of the FORM Premium package, which includes additional features such as workouts, training plans, and more. When purchasing the goggles, customers receive two months of FORM Premium for free. After the initial period, a subscription to FORM Premium is available for $15 per month or $99 per year in the US (£13 per month or £84 per year in the UK).

The FORM Smart Swim 2 goggles are now available for purchase on the official FORM website for US customers and the UK-specific website for customers in the UK. The Smart Swim 2 is priced at $249 in the US (£229 in the UK). For those who do not require the SwimStraight or integrated heart rate sensor features, the Smart Swim 1 is still available at a lower price of $179 (£159 in the UK).
