A pack of robot dogs from Boston Dynamics stunned audiences and judges alike with a choreographed dance routine on America's Got Talent, earning unanimous approval to advance to the next round.

The performance featured the company’s Spot robots, four-legged machines known for their agility and versatility, dancing to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The robots moved in synchrony under stage lights, showcasing their engineering precision and autonomous capabilities.
One robot stumbled mid-performance, collapsing on stage. However, the remaining robots continued without interruption, demonstrating their ability to adapt and maintain formation.

Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofía Vergara, and Mel B were visibly impressed. Mandel remarked on the novelty of the act, while Cowell, often critical, smiled and nodded in approval. All four judges voted “yes,” sending Boston Dynamics to the next round.
A Boston Dynamics representative told host Terry Crews after the performance, “We really, really believe that this is the future.”
Each Spot robot was programmed to move in time with the music, translating code into coordinated dance steps. The robots also mimicked lip-syncing with their arms, adding a theatrical element to the routine.
Spot robots are priced at USD 75,000 each and are used globally for tasks such as industrial inspections, leak detection, and terrain navigation. Over 1,500 units are currently in operation worldwide.
