Check Out BMW’s Latest Electric Vehicles at Its i Pavilion Exhibition in Orchard Road
BMW is giving you the chance to get a closer look at its latest electric vehicles (EV) by setting up a limited-time exhibition that you can visit today.
The i Pavilion exhibition, which is located at the outdoor atrium of ION Orchard, opened its doors last Saturday, 27 August and will run until Sunday, 18 September. It's open from 10AM to 10PM daily, but visiting before 6PM is recommended due to the space being reserved for private functions on certain days.
Housed in the space are two of BMW's latest EVs: the flagship iX SUV and the i4 eDrive 40 sedan. Both cars have so far been getting rave reviews from various outlets, so if you're curious, you might want to visit the exhibition and see the two for yourself. And if you have questions, there are representatives from Performance Motors Limited or Eurokars Auto, the official dealerships of BMW in Singapore, on-site who'll be able to assist you.
"A key part of our sustainability strategy is to expand the range of EVs our customers can choose from, but it’s important to highlight that BMW doesn’t just sell EVs," said Lars Nielsen, Managing Director of BMW Group Asia. "We are selling a new sustainable lifestyle that will become a reality for many people in Singapore within the next 10 years."
Also on display are the zero-emission technologies and charging solutions behind the German automaker's all-electric vehicles, plus other showcases from partner companies like Samsung, Shell, Swarovski and Bowers & Wilkins.
Apart from these, the space plans to host activities that you can participate in. You can join the BMW i Pavilion quiz, which involves finding hidden QR codes and answering trivia questions correctly. You can also catch Mediacorp artists like Ya Hui, who is scheduled to make an appearance to talk about her experience driving the BMW iX and her thoughts about EVs.
