BMW Celebrates SG60 With Unveiling of i7 Singapore Icons Edition

BMW is celebrating SG60 in a special way.

The German automaker has unveiled a one-of-one i7 model that is meant to commemorate its and Eurokars Group’s 40-year legacy in Singapore, the same year the Lion City is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Dubbed the BMW i7 Singapore Icons edition, the singular vehicle was crafted as part of BMW’s prestigious “Icons of Singapore” initiative, and is meant to be a tribute to who Singaporeans are as people and where Singapore is headed as a nation.

With just one unit created globally, the commemorative electric vehicle is housed exclusively at BMW Eurokars Auto.

Of course, it has a bunch of features that distinguish it from standard models. Chief of which perhaps is the one-off colour palette, which is supposedly inspired by Singapore's lush landscapes and architectural marvels.

Additionally, it has a bespoke insignia and interior detailing that’s meant to echo the Lion City’s heritage. It also has hand-finished elements and custom ambient lighting, among a number of unique elements.

BMW touts that the one-off vehicle is the product of tireless dedication and unwavering passion.

“From the first concept sketch to the final flourish, this masterpiece represents years of expertise, decades of progress, and a nation’s pursuit of excellence,” commented the luxury automaker in a news release.

“Join us as we celebrate the passion that continues to unite us in joy and the legacy that moves us forward.” said BMW.
