Apple is set to unveil iOS 26 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 9, and reports suggest that three older iPhone models will no longer be supported.

The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, all released in 2018 and powered by the A12 Bionic chip, are expected to be excluded from the iOS 26 update.
This marks a shift from 2023, when all devices compatible with iOS 17 were also able to run iOS 18.
While Apple has not officially confirmed the list of supported devices, the company is expected to announce full compatibility details during the WWDC keynote.
Developer betas for iOS 26 will begin rolling out on June 9, with public betas anticipated in July. The full public release of iOS 26 is expected in the autumn.
Users of the iPhone 11 and newer models can expect full compatibility with iOS 26.
Owners of the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR will still receive iOS 18 security updates, but no new features are expected to be added.
Rumours suggest iOS 26 will introduce a significantly redesigned interface, which will not be available on the older models.
