Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Is Coming to Gran Turismo 7 This October

Xiaomi’s Vision Gran Turismo concept is heading to Gran Turismo 7 this October, arriving with the game’s major Spec IV update. New footage of the electric hypercar was shown during the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 Round 3 in Singapore on 3 October.

The project extends a collaboration between Xiaomi and Gran Turismo first announced in June 2025. A full-scale version of the concept was later unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in March 2026, giving the public its first close look at Xiaomi’s vision for an extreme electric performance car.
Xiaomi describes the Vision Gran Turismo as an electric hypercar concept shaped around aerodynamics. Its teardrop-style cockpit sits inside a body filled with cut-outs and air ducts that form channels around the car, while the distinctive halo-shaped rear light also serves as a large air outlet.
Inside, the company has introduced what it calls the “Sofa Racer” concept. Rather than presenting the cabin purely as a stripped-out racing cockpit, Xiaomi says the idea is to combine high-performance driving with a more relaxed, lounge-like seating experience.
The Vision Gran Turismo remains a virtual concept rather than a production model, but it gives Xiaomi another platform to showcase its automotive design ambitions as the company continues expanding its presence in electric vehicles. Gran Turismo 7 players will be able to drive the car when the Spec IV update launches later this month.
