Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Launches In SG With 5,000mAh Battery, 120Hz Screen, 67W Charging & More

Looking at the specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, you might think this sounds more like a flagship than a mid-range phone.

Well, you'll be pleased to know that this phone is retailing at just S$399 for the 6GB+128GB model, and S$429 for the 8GB+128GB model. That's right, even the most expensive variant is under S$500.

It comes with a triple-camera array on the rear, featuring a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. In front, there's a 16MP camera for selfies.

The screen is impressive on paper though, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and even a max brightness of 1,200 nits on the 6.67-inch AMOLED display.

Inside, the processor might be the only part that draws a frown, since it's using a Snapdragon 695 chip, but Xiaomi claims this chip is two generations ahead of the processor in the preceding Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. That being said, it does support 5G connectivity, which is excellent for a phone in this price range.

The phone also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W turbo charging in the Note 11 Pro 5G model, which means it should charge up in a flash.

Xiaomi has also partnered with YouTube to offer 2-month YouTube Premium trials for free with the Redmi Note 11 series phones, which is definitely a nice bonus.

The Redmi Note 11 series lineup comprises of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11, and the phones will be available for purchase from 19 February 2022 onwards. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G starts from S$399 while the Redmi Note 11 Pro starts from S$359. The Redmi Note 11S starts from S$299 and the Redmi Note 11 starts from S$259.
