The Chinese electronics giant today announced the release of the Xiaomi Pad 6, which features an 11-inch WQHD+ display with a pixel density of 309, delivering sharp and clear picture quality. The display is appropriate for both work and play, boasting Dolby Vision support, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

What's more, the tablet comes equipped with a quad-speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, allowing users to enjoy an immersive audio experience whether they're listening to music or watching videos.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 can also meet the needs of busy professionals thanks to the intuitive MIUI for Pad software and support for the stylus and keyboard support. The device works seamlessly with the second generation Xiaomi Smart Pen, which includes a nifty button that users can press to take a quick screenshot or switch between writing, painting and colour functions in the Notes app. The keyboard, meanwhile, enables users to create personalised shortcuts and input text faster.

For video calls, the tablet even has an ultra-wide front-facing camera with FocusFrame function that automatically keeps the user in frame. The tablet's four microphones, meanwhile, pick up the user's voice accurately, while reducing background noise, even in busy locations like airports.

Under the hood, it's powered by a Snapdragon 870 mobile chipset and an 8,840mAh battery cell, ensuring optimised performance throughout a whole working day.

Design-wise, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is slim, light and easy to carry, weighing merely 490g. That portability doesn't come at the cost of durability as it also features an aluminum-alloy unibody design with a 6.51mm bezel.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 come in two memory configurations in Singapore: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The former, which is available exclusively online, retails for S$459, while the latter retails for S$529. The tablet is available in three colour options: Gravity Gray, Gold and Mist Blue.

Early bird buyers can score a small discount, with the 8GB+128GB storage option being available online for S$449 from 22 to 29 July. Those who purchase the 8GB+256GB option, on the other hand, can score a free Xiaomi Pad 6 Cover and enjoy S$30 off the Xiaomi Pad 6 Keyboard at S$99
