Shenzhen will open the world’s first robot 6S store on July 28, offering full lifecycle services for robots in a district dedicated to robotics innovation.

The store, located in south China’s Longgang District, expands on the traditional 4S model by adding customisation and leasing services, according to Zhao Bingbing, Director of the Shenzhen Longgang District Artificial Intelligence (Robotics) Administration.

The robot district features advanced technologies including cleaning robots, patrolling quadrupeds and drones delivering coffee, showcasing a vision of future human-robot coexistence.
