Wiko 10 To Officially Launch in Malaysia for RM699

Wiko is introducing a new entry-level smartphone into the Malaysian market, its third one this year after a brief hiatus back in 2021. The French company has revealed the Wiko 10, a budget device with a large battery, a larger display and a lot of bang for your buck.

To start with, the Wiko T10 sports a 6.74-inch LCD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1600x720. Available in blue, black and silver, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and only a single bottom-firing speaker, though it makes up for it with a 3.5mm audio jack.

Under the hood, the handset runs on a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If that's not enough for you, Wiko also equipped the phone with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB. As for connectivity, it is compatible with dual-band Wi-Fi, LTE and Bluetooth 5.0, though it seems to lack support for NFC.

For photography, the Wiko T10 features a three-lens setup comprised of a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens that can shoot as close as 4cm. Up front, the small centre-aligned notch on the display houses an 8MP fixed-focus selfie camera that can shoot videos up to 1080p.

Powering the phone is a hefty 5,000mAh battery that boasts an impressive 17 hours of video playback or even 55.2 hours of playing music, not that you would ever need to do that. Using the supported 22.5W wired fast charging, the company claims that the T10 is capable of getting an additional two hours of video playback with just 10 minutes of juicing up. Moreover, the device supports reverse charging, essentially turning it into a powerbank for your other devices.
