Uber is partnering with Starship Technologies to introduce autonomous robot deliveries in the United Kingdom starting in Dec. 2025. The ride-hailing company plans to expand these services to additional European markets next year and the U.S. in 2027.

Initially, Uber Eats customers will receive Starship robot deliveries in the Leeds, and Sheffield areas.
This partnership represents the latest collaboration for Uber with autonomous vehicle, and technology companies. Uber currently partners with Avride, and Serve Robotics for robotic food delivery services in the United States.
Starship, based in San Francisco, employs robots operating at Level 4 autonomy. This means the robots can function without human intervention within designated operational zones.
