ThinQ Are Smarter Than This Smart Home?

It’s not that easy to have a truly smart home yet, there may be challenges faced in pairing the devices, syncing them or even getting them to work but it definitely all comes together nicely when you have a suite of products that work hand-in-hand.

Thanks to LG Electronics, we had the chance to experience what it’s like when products like your TV, air purifier, washer and more all work together in tandem with LG ThinQ’s AI.

Most of us would take off our jackets once we get home, but don’t hang it up in your closet full of clean clothes! Put it in the LG Styler that can remove allergens and refresh clothes by using steam to remove wrinkles and odours.

But if you want to slouch on the couch for a bit before starting your chores around the house, that won’t be an issue either. LG TVs have the LG TV Home Dashboard where you can see all your connected smart home appliances, and even control them via voice commands.

You won’t even have to get up to check whether the Styler is done steaming your clothes, just ask by giving command to the remote control! It does more than just check on your appliances too. Want to get the laundry in your Twin Wash started? Just give it the command straight from the TV remote control.

Vacuuming really is a pain, but robot vacuums are a godsend. Still, it may be mildly troublesome for some to have to get up, walk to the base and activate the robot vacuum. If you forget to let it go to work while you’re out of the house, why not let your LG Hom-Bot do it at a time when you’re occupied, like taking a shower?

Of course, you won’t be able to use voice commands from the TV by then. But if you have an LG WK7 ThinQ speaker like we did in the video above, then you’ll be able to command your devices from anywhere in the house, even the shower, as long as your speaker can pick up your commands!

Now that you’ve done all your chores, a nap is in order. We’ve gone this far without manually controlling any appliances, and we’re not going to stop now. Get into bed, and just tell the LG PuriCare Air Purifier to turn on!
