Tesla Files Lawsuit Against Chinese Firm for Tech Secret Infringement

Tesla Shanghai has taken legal action against Bingling Intelligent Technology, a Chinese chip designer and auto parts maker, over allegations of tech secret infringement and unfair competition.

The lawsuit will be heard in the Shanghai intellectual property court on October 10. Xiaomi Corp, through its investment fund unit, owns 11.9% of Bingling, according to Chinese business data platform Tianyancha.
This move by Tesla highlights the company's commitment to protecting its intellectual property rights and ensuring fair competition in the Chinese market. The lawsuit aims to address the alleged infringement and seek appropriate legal remedies.
