SHARP Purefit Air Purifier Arrives in Singapore With Haze and Pet Modes
SHARP has launched its Purefit Plasmacluster Air Purifier (FX-S82E-B/L) in Singapore, pairing a compact, award-winning design with dedicated Haze and Pet modes. Built for rooms of up to 62 square metres, it draws air through filters on both sides and uses six sensors to track indoor conditions. The purifier also connects over Wi-Fi for app-based controls, while its wall-hugging airflow helps circulate cleaned air through the room. It is priced at S$744 in Stone Grey and Stone Black.

SHARP’s dual-sided design lets the unit take in air from either side before passing it through a three-stage filtration system. The company says its nanoHD Plus dust collection filter captures up to 99 per cent of particles as small as 0.003 micrometres under its stated test conditions. That figure is a manufacturer claim; actual performance in a home will depend on room conditions and use.
The dedicated Haze Mode is designed to collect airborne particles when outdoor pollution affects indoor air, while Pet Mode targets the air-care needs of homes with animals. A stated clean air delivery rate of 480 cubic metres per hour gives a measure of the purifier’s airflow capacity, though the recommended coverage remains 62 square metres.
Six smart sensors monitor indoor conditions so the purifier can respond as the room changes. SHARP’s Wall Fit COANDA airflow directs cleaned air along the wall, allowing the unit to sit close to it while circulating air across the room.
The FX-S82E-B/L also supports SHARP’s AIoT Wi-Fi connection for remote monitoring and controls. Its Plasmacluster ion system operates alongside the physical filters; the filtration and ion features have distinct functions, and SHARP’s claimed particle-capture figure refers to the filter rather than a measured improvement in a particular home.
At 285mm wide, 525mm tall and 285mm deep, the purifier has a relatively compact square footprint and weighs 7.2kg. SHARP says the dust collection and deodorising filters can last up to two years, although replacement intervals will vary with the environment and usage.
The Purefit received an iF Design Award in 2026. It is offered in Stone Grey and Stone Black with a recommended retail price of S$744 in Singapore. Those considering it for haze season should also factor in filter maintenance and placement when assessing how it fits their room.
