Sentosa Unveils SentosaLand, a Metaverse Experience on Roblox

Sentosa's venturing beyond physical resort developments as it unveils a new metaverse experience for its digitally savvy guests.

Called SentosaLand, the virtual space lets guests explore and discover a fantastical reimagination of Sentosa island

while taking a breather from life’s hustle and bustle. Guests can visit a number of experience zones on the tropical island, themed after the elements of land, air and water, including Imbiah Magical Forest, Siloso Speedway and Southernmost Sky Flyer, respectively.

The Imbiah Magical Forest lets guests run through a topsy-turvy forest while avoiding obstacles and collecting coins. The Siloso Speedway, meanwhile, has them racing against the clock, hitting checkpoints and running through speed boosts to clock their fastest times. Last but not least is the Sky Flyer, where they can freefall from a space station back to land as they test agility, reflexes and accuracy.

Guests can also chill out and lounge on a floatie at a beach club, get lost in a garden maze, strike a meditative pose and unlock new outfits for their avatars to wear.

The virtual space opened to the public from Tuesday, 10 January on the popular gaming platform Roblox.

The guest who collects the most coins at the end of the contest period will be crowned the winner and be rewarded

with a 2D1N Staycation Package at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. The contest ends on Tuesday, 28 February, 1500H + 8GMT.

There are also other rewards that guests can redeem in-game through Sentosa's partner merchants:

• Le Faubourg – one Diabolo Fizz Drink with any food purchase (homemade lemonade mixed with French syrup – different flavours available)
