Samsung Offers Free Trial Period for Foldable Smartphones

If you’ve always wanted to try the Samsung foldable phones (Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G), you’re in luck.
From 16 April 2021 to 6 June 2021, Samsung will allow users to test either one of its foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G for seven days. After the trial period, users can either return the device at no cost to the store they originally got it from or purchase it.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a clear, bright and sharp 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ processor. Although the Snapdragon 855+ is not the newest processor around, it still holds up well to the phone’s many demands. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, on the other hand, has a 6.2-inch super AMOLED display and a Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 5G+ processor. If you’re interested in trying either of the phones out, visit Samsung’s Galaxy Trial page to book an appointment with the Samsung Experience Store of your choosing. After booking and specifying which phone you want to test out, visit the store you chose and collect the device. After the seven-day trial period, you can either return the device or buy it, as previously mentioned. If you choose to buy it, then Samsung is currently offering a S$100 Samsung voucher for you to purchase eligible accessories, tables or wearables to go with your new phone.

People who choose to purchase a Galaxy Z Fold2 5G smartphone from Samsung Experience Stores between 16 April 2021 and 7 May 2021 will also receive a complimentary Samsung Galaxy Watch3 Bluetooth (45mm) while stocks last.
Customers who use UOB or OCBC credits cards for the purchase of a Galaxy Z series phone on the Samsung Online Store can enjoy a 0% instalment plan up to 36 months. Interest-free instalment plans are also available for other selected credit cards, but those will only be available for in-store purchases at Samsung Experience Stores.
These foldable phones are still quite pricey, so it’s definitely nice that Samsung is offering a free 7-day trial for people to determine if they like the phone before splashing out the cash!
