According to SamMobile, Samsung has jumped the gun on unveiling the long-rumoured third-generation of Fan Edition (FE) devices. Eagle-eyed visitors of the South Korean tech giant's website for Argentina reportedly spotted a product page for the Galaxy Buds FE as well as images of the Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE.

While nothing is official as of writing, the leaks do mention the Galaxy Buds FE, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE by name, which is the biggest hint yet to the existence of these devices. That also means the three are all but confirmed to be more affordable FE options of previous releases.

The product page of the Galaxy Buds FE, Samsung's first FE earbuds, says that they include a single 12mm driver, three microphones in each earbud to boost the active noise cancellation features and a three-way speaker.

No details have been revealed about the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE from the leaked images.

Leakers online have previously reported, however, that the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone would ship with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the company's own Exynos 2200. These chips are less powerful than the Galaxy S23's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or even the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on last year's Samsung foldables.

The Galaxy S23 FE is also expected to feature 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution, a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 25 watts and at least 8GB of RAM.

For the smartphone's design, the leaks do show that it'll adopt the same "floating lens" design of its stablemates. It also comes

Samsung's FE releases are said to be popular among consumers. They're more affordable versions of flagship releases, stripping them down to their most essential features to accommodate a more affordable price. That makes them attractive for those who are after a taste of the premium flagship experience but don't want to break the bank.

Samsung has yet to announce when it plans to launch the three FE devices, but they couldn't be far off now, given the leaks. They'll likely launch within the first week or so of October, putting them in direct competition with some of Apple and Google's products.
