The South Korean tech giant today announced the latest additions to its customizable Bespoke Home lineup, including a wall oven that can livestream your food as it cooks.

The Bespoke AI Oven is a smart wall oven that can recognise dishes you're trying to cook and recommend optimal cooking settings, such as temperature, time and mode. The model that'll be released in Europe can reportedly recognise up to 106 different dishes and detect burns to warn you if your food is being overcooked.

It's able to do this thanks to the pairing of artificial intelligence smarts and an internal camera. That's not all the camera is good for, however. You can also use it to livestream or take photos of the inside of your oven, so that your social media friends can see your food as it cooks.

The oven features different modes, including air fryer, steam cooking, dual temperature zones and air sous vide. You can also connect it to your Wi-Fi and use the SmartThings Cooking app to set timers or watch the stream from your smartphone or tablet. It also connects to Samsung Health to track your workout stats and diet, allowing it to make appropriate meal recommendations.

Samsung also announced the new Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub+, which ships with a 32-inch, bezel-less FHD screen – double the size of previous models. The larger display allows you to conveniently experience SmartThings services, while monitoring your other home appliances. It also makes for a good all-in-one entertainment and communication hub, where you can watch shows and display photos, among other functions.

“At CES 2023, we are continuing to build on the success of our Bespoke lineup with the introduction of new Bespoke refrigerators and built-in appliances that give consumers even more ways to express themselves in their kitchens,” said Junhwa Lee, EVP and Head of the Customer Experience Team of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics.

“Our goal is to maximise the freedom customers have to pursue personalization and productivity in their kitchens, with new features enhanced with everything from large, responsive screens on our refrigerators to AI-powered cooking assistance."

The Bespoke AI Oven is launching in the U.S. and Europe sometime in Q3 2023, while the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub+ is launching in the U.S. and Korea within the first half of 2023. No pricing details yet for both appliances.
