Reddit has introduced two new artificial intelligence-powered advertising tools designed to help brands engage more effectively with users by tapping into real-time platform discussions.

The first tool, called Reddit Insights powered by Community Intelligence, offers marketers live insights to identify trending topics and test campaign ideas. The second feature, Conversation Summary Add-ons, allows brands to display selected positive user comments directly beneath their ads.
The tools aim to enhance campaign planning and user engagement by integrating community sentiment into advertising strategies.
France-based Publicis Groupe is already using Reddit Insights. The platform plans to roll out the tools to other advertising agencies in July, according to Chief Operating Officer Jen Wong.

Reddit’s move comes as platforms like Snap and Pinterest also turn to AI-driven ad targeting to attract marketers in a competitive advertising landscape shaped by economic uncertainty.
The announcement follows a revised forecast from WPP Media, which lowered its global ad revenue growth estimate to 6% from 7.7%, citing concerns over shifting U.S. trade policies. WPP’s media investment arm noted that brands are expected to favour flexible ad contracts and increase adoption of AI tools for ad production and targeting.
In March, Reddit launched new content moderation and analytics tools to help users follow community rules and better understand content performance.
Last month, Reddit projected second-quarter revenue above Wall Street expectations, though CEO Steve Huffman warned of potential traffic disruptions from Google search changes.
