Pearson has announced a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud to introduce artificial intelligence-powered learning tools in primary and secondary schools.

The collaboration aims to deliver personalised education experiences using Google’s advanced AI models, the British education company said Thursday.
The tools will adjust to each student’s learning pace and needs, while also enabling teachers to monitor performance and customise lessons.

Pearson Chief Executive Omar Abbosh said AI has the potential to transform education by replacing standardised teaching methods with tailored learning paths.
The partnership is part of Pearson’s broader strategy to expand its digital education offerings.
The company has also signed similar multi-year AI-focused agreements with Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.
These initiatives are designed to enhance personalisation in learning and provide more digital tools for educators and students.
