MSI Hosting Grand Finals of MGA 2024 in Thailand Game Show

MSI’s annual gaming tournament is nearing its epic conclusion.

The PC hardware maker announced it will kick off the Grand Finals of the MSI Gaming Arena 2024 (MGA 2024) Dota 2 tournament on Friday, 19 October at Thailand Game Show 2024 in the MSI A4 area at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
Four teams are competing at the chance to take home cash and other prizes. These are Please Report Timbersaw from Thailand, Team Essence from Indonesia, Myth Avenue Gaming from Malaysia and Team Whoops from India.
All matches in the Grand Finals will follow a best of three format and will be live streamed on MSI's official YouTube and Twitch channels. The team that wins the tournament takes home US$7,000 in cash prize, while the team that places second bags US$4,000. Meanwhile, the team that places third and fourth each wins US$2,000.
MSI said fans around the world can expect the competition to deliver thrilling matches that they can enjoy, whether they’re watching online or in-person. Fans also stand a chance to win some cool prizes, including gaming handhelds, gaming monitors, gaming graphics cards, solid-state drives, and gaming mouse-and-keyboard sets.
What’s more, attendees at the event will receive special giveaways such as Lucky keychains and exclusive MGA mouse pads.

Semi-finals Match 1: 19 October, 11:30 (GMT+8)
Semi-finals Match 2: 19 October, 15:30 (GMT+8)
Grand Finals: 20 October, 11:30 (GMT+8)
MGA 2024 has been running since August of this year, when online registrations were opened for teams across Southeast and South Asia region.
