The PC hardware maker announced at Computex 2024 new machines that are powered by the new Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, which boast tremendous performance and AI capabilities, delivering more than 100 combined TOPS of power. In addition, the new processors are more incredibly power efficient, enabling the machines to maintain a lightweight frame while offering longer battery life.
Whichever of the new models you choose, MSI is ensuring you can stay ahead of the rapidly transforming AI landscape and can handle those types of workloads without any issues. So, without further ado, here are the next generation of AI-ready gaming and productivity laptops from the company
MSI Crosshair 17 HX D14V
For a larger display, the MSI Crosshair 17 HX D14V is also soon to be available. This gaming powerhouse with a 17-inch panel is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor 14700HX and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070.
Its QHD+ panel supports refresh rates of up to 240Hz, allowing gameplay to feel smooth and responsive. Similar to the Sword 16, it also includes a 24-Zone RGB keyboard and MSI's Cooler Boost 5 cooling solution with six exhausts design.
If you can’t wait and don’t mind a slightly smaller display, the Crosshair 16 HX D14V is already available. It has the same CPU and GPU as its larger sibling, so you can expect it to perform and run games just as well.
MSI Sword 16 HX B14VX
Another option for gaming is the MSI Sword 16 HX B14VX. This laptop packs an Intel Core i7 processor 14700HX and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 into a sleek and lightweight profile.
It has two options for display, both of which are, of course, 16 inches: a QHD+ panel with refresh rates of 240Hz and an FHD+ panel with refresh rates of 144Hz. Other key features include a 24-Zone RGB keyboard and MSI's Cooler Boost 5 cooling solution with six exhausts design.

It packs an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, giving you enough power to play some of today's most demanding games without a hitch, while weighing less than five pounds. For comparisons, most gaming laptops weigh at least six pounds. The laptop also features a 99.9Wh battery and an RGB backlit keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, letting you pull up Microsoft's generative AI chatbot with a quick press.
MSI Stealth Mercedes-AMG Motorsport
MSI celebrated its one-year partnership with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport by unveiling the MSI Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. The new laptop builds on the winning formula of last year’s Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG variant, powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU. The 18-inch display also boasts a 3840x2400 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
MSI touts that the laptop brings a sense of luxury to the gaming experience that's evocative of its partner automaker's race cars. The high-end laptop even incorporates several speed symbols, including the AMG pattern, exclusive metal nameplates from MSI and AMG and the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport logo.
MSI Summit AI+ Series
Outside of gaming, MSI has the new Summit series, which consists of the Summit A16 AI+ and the Summit 13 AI+ Evo.
The former is a versatile two-in-one hybrid with a flipping 16-inch touchscreen, enabling you to use it like a tablet. It houses an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, AMD Radeon graphics, up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. The latter features similar hybrid options, albeit with a smaller 13.3-inch screen. Instead of AMD, it also houses an Intel Core Ultra processor with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage.
For us in Singapore, the Summit AI Series, features up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H and up to the GeForce RTX 4060, the AMD processors would be soon to come!
MSI Prestige Series
The Prestige 16 AI features similar internal specs as the Summit 16 AI, including an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, AMD Radeon graphics, and up to 32GB of RAM. It is in the design where the Prestige model distinguishes itself from its Summit counterpart, boasting a more lightweight frame and a white backlit keyboard.
Much like the Summit AI Series, for the Prestige series, it features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 185H and the GeForce RTX 4070 for us in Singapore, stay tuned for the AMD Processor versions!
Next up are the Prestige AI+ Evo models, namely the 13 AI+ Evo, the 14 AI+ Evo and the 16 AI+ Evo. These are MSI’s most lightweight laptops from its lineup. The 13-inch option, in particular, weighs less than a kilogram at 990g. That’s incredibly lightweight for a laptop packing this much performance power.
First, the 13 AI+ Evo is the lightest in the lineup at 2.20 pounds. It packs an Intel Ultra Core processor, an OLED panel and a 75Wh battery, as well as Wi-Fi 7 support and Thunderbolt 4 ports for connectivity.
The middle model, the Prestige 14 AI+ Evo, has an Intel Core Ultra processor with a maximum of 32GB of RAM. It also includes a 14-inch OLED panel, along with Wi-Fi 7 support.
Finally, the Prestige 16 AI+ Evo is the most powerful and largest among the three. It’s equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor, up to 32GB of RAM and a 99.9Wh battery. Of course, it also has a 16-inch OLED panel, as well as Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
In the Prestige line, there’s also the 16 AI Studio and the upcoming 14 Prestige AI Studio.
The Prestige 16 AI Studio is an ultra-thin laptop that boasts incredible performance and a premium design. Touted as one of, if not, the best AI business laptop in the market, it features an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, giving you more than enough power for demanding tasks like graphic design and video editing. What’s more, those internal components are packed into a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis that is only 18.95mm thin, making it easy to carry around. Other key features include Wi-Fi 7 support and up to 140W charging for the 99.9WHr battery.
The upcoming 14-inch variant is equally powerful, being powered by the same Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H. However, it tops out at an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, instead of its sibling’s RTX 4070. That's still a lot of power, enough to handle almost every productivity task
you might need. It’s also ultra-thin at 18.95 mm thin and similarly supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
