Logitech G, a sub brand of the PC peripherals maker, has launched what it's calling the ultimate esports headset – the Pro X 2 Lightspeed.

The wireless gaming headset features the brand's Pro-G Graphene audio drivers, which are tuned to allow you to hear even the slightest audio cue that could be critical to winning. The drivers have also been precision engineered with a 50 mm graphene diaphragm featuring a live edge suspension to deliver immersive soundscapes. They also boast improvements in sound reproduction accuracy, time to signal accuracy and distortion reduction, enabling you to better discern the position of your opponents or objects in-game relative to yours.

"With PRO X 2, we've achieved a groundbreaking level of performance by redesigning our Pro-G drivers with Graphene audio technology. With our use of graphene, we can create a driver that is both incredibly rigid and, at the same time, almost impossibly lightweight. This delivers high fidelity sound with extremely low distortion, giving pros the performance they need to play to their maximum potential," said Chris Pate, Logitech G Pro Series Principal Product Manager.

The Pro X 2 Lightspeed features multiple connectivity options: Lightspeed wireless, Bluetooth or wired via a 3.5mm aux. Logitech's Lightspeed connection has a range of up to 30m and can last up to 50 hours on a single charge. The headset also has a 6mm cardioid microphone on a detachable boom arm, with advanced Blue VO!CE software filters through the G HUB portal for clear and consistent communications with your teammates. It also supports DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound to bring deeply immersive soundscape experiences.

Design-wise, the Pro X 2 Lightspeed features a durable yet lightweight aluminium and steel frame that doesn't compromise on comfort, highlighted by a rotating, durable hinge and swappable earpads in leatherette and velour.

Logitech notes that the headset was developed under its Design by Collaboration program, which brings many of the world’s top esports athletes and teams to help develop and provide feedback for new high-performance esports gear.

The Pro X 2 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset will be available at all major local retail stores from 13 June 2023 as well as online via Logitech Official Stores on various e-commerce platforms with a suggested retail price of S$389.
