LG Launches Versatile Libero Monitor With Detachable Webcam, to Retail at S$799
LG has launched a new monitor to its lineup called the Libero, which aims to bring versatility to workers both in the office and those who work from home. The new LG Libero 27BQ70QC enables efficient space management as well as customisability with its all-in-one stand that can be set up in two different ways.
The monitor sports a 27-inch QHD IPS display with a native resolution of 2560 X 1440 and a peak brightness of 350 nits. Furthermore, the LG device boasts 99% coverage of the sRGB colour spectrum and HDR10 compatibility. It has a built-in reader mode to reduce eye fatigue when reading documents and a feature that reduces invisible flickering to reduce eye strain.
The versatility comes in its stand, which is connected to both ends of the monitor and can be used as a handle to carry the monitor around. The 2-in-1 form factor refers to its ability to either be hung from a partition to save space on your desk or just be used on your desk itself when rotated. The screen can also be tilted forwards and backwards for adjustment, capable of going between -5 degrees and 10 degrees.
The I/O is a bit disappointing as it is equipped with only a single HDMI 2.0 port, one USB-C port and an audio jack on the right-hand side, along with a Kensington security slot on the other side. However, the type-C port can output up to 65W to charge your other devices.
When it comes to video conferencing, the LG Libero comes with a detachable Full HD webcam that also has a built-in physical webcam cover for an extra level of privacy. As for the audio, the 27BQ70QC features two 2W speakers tuned by Maxx Audio.
The LG Libero 27BQ70QC is coming to Singapore on 1 November, retailing at S$799. The monitor will be available on the brand's Shopee, Lazada and KrisShop pages. It will also be sold through authorised retailers such as Best Denki, Gain City, Harvey Norman, Courts and Challenger.
