Leica Q3 43 Compact Full-Frame Camera Now Available in Singapore
Leica is ushering in a new era in compact full-frame photography.
The German imaging specialist on Friday, 27 September announced the launch of the Q3 43, a compact full-frame camera with a 43mm lens, in Singapore.
The specially developed camera features an APO-Summicron 43 f/2 ASPH lens. The focal length reportedly mirrors the natural perception of your eyes, allowing for more realistic shot composition and eliminating any distortion of subjects you see through the high-resolution OLED viewfinder of the camera. That makes it perfectly suited for street photography and portraits.
What’s more, the Leica Q3 43 also features an integrated macro mode for close-ups, similar to its sister model, the Leica Q3.
Additionally, the APO lens has a maximum aperture of f/2, enabling you to effectively separate the subject from the background with a harmonious bokeh. Coupled with the ISO performance, the lens enables short exposure times, even in low light.
The Q3 43 also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, providing you a seamless mobile workflow, especially with iOS devices. You can connect it to your iPhone using the Leica FOTOS app. After doing so, you can seamlessly transfer data from your camera to your iPhone. On top of that, Leica Looks, including the newly introduced Leica Chrome, can be loaded onto your camera.
The Leica Q3 models share the same DNA, featuring a BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology that lets you choose resolutions at 60, 36 and 18 megapixels.
One other key feature of the Q3 43 is that it can connect to external RØDE microphones via USB-C.
The Leica Q3 43 is priced at S$9,990 and is now available globally at all Leica Stores, the Leica Online Store and authorised dealers. You can also purchase the new multifunction protector with integrated handgrip, priced at $390, along with the lens.
