Alleged dummy images of Apple’s first folding iPhone, possibly named the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra, have been revealed. The images show a wide, tablet-like design for the device, which is expected to be released this September, according to normal schedules.

Leaker Sonny Dickson shared images on X, stating they represent the “Exclusive First Dummies of what the final size of the iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max will look like.” The pictures display bright pink metallic shapes, illustrating the designs of the three devices.
The iPhone Fold design appears very wide, resembling an iPad mini viewed sideways. When positioned next to the iPhone 18 Pro models, which are thought to be similar in size to the current iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, the folded device appears smaller due to its shorter height.
Early reports suggest the iPhone Fold’s unfolded display will be larger than an iPhone Pro Max, yet slightly smaller than the original iPad mini. Its folded dimensions indicate it could offer easy portability.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in his Power On newsletter that the folding iPhone is on schedule. This contradicts previous reports, including one from Nikkei, which suggested a delay until 2027 due to manufacturing and testing challenges.
Gurman also refuted a prior claim he made regarding a potential delay. He stated there is "no folding iPhone crisis at Apple and normal schedules will be observed," adding that the fears surrounding a delay were "overblown."
