iPhone 15 Reportedly Debuting New Colours With Matching Charging Cables
Updated: Dec 18, 2023
Apple has yet to confirm the launch of the iPhone 15, but leaks are already pouring in about the new lineup of mobile devices.

The latest of which claims the pricier options of the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, would come in all-new colours. According to 9to5Mac's sources, one of the colours is "Titan Gray", while the other is some dark blue hue. These two colours would likely be available alongside the traditional black and silver colours that the iPhone launches in every year.

It's not the first Apple launched its more expensive iPhone variants in unique colours. Last year's iPhone 14, for example, debuted gold and purple colour options that were exclusive to the Pro and Pro Max variants.
Meanwhile, the base model of the iPhone 15 was said to be tested in a range of colours, according to a tweet by Apple leaker @Uredditor. These include rose gold, green, blue, yellow, black and perhaps even orange. The leaker, however, said it's yet unclear which among the colours could make the final release.
What's more, MacRumors reports that Apple would be including colour-matched charging cables in the package of each iPhone 15. In previous generations, all iPhones shipped with the same white Lightning cable regardless of the colour of the unit. That's expected to change starting with the iPhone 15, with it being the first iPhone generation to sport a USB-C charging port.
Apple has yet to announce when it'll launch the iPhone 15, but going by various insider information, it's not too far off now. That's further backed up by supply chain analyst Ming Chi Kuo's new claim that iPhone 15 Pro Max units will start mass shipments as early as this week. If Kuo's information is to be believed, a mid- to late-September launch seems likely.
