Aito, in cooperation with Huawei and Seres, has received over 100,000 bookings for the Aito M9 SUV. The M9 SUV has now delivered over 15,000 units, making it China's best-selling premium SUV model. Major premium brands such as Porsche, Maserati, and Lamborghini saw losses in May sales in China.

The firm stated that these reservations included non-refundable deposits of RMB 5,000 (US$688) each. This milestone comes six months after the Aito M9 was unveiled in December.

Impressively, Aito delivered over 15,000 M9 SUVs in April and May, making it the best-selling model in China's luxury SUV market segment priced at RMB 500,000 or more. This achievement contrasts sharply with prominent premium brands such as Porsche, Maserati, and Lamborghini, which reported double-digit decreases in May sales in China, according to local media outlet Jiemian.

The Aito M9 SUV, which seats six people, contains cutting-edge Huawei technology. The M9, priced at RMB 469,800 (US$65,725) for the range-extended hybrid version and RMB 509,800 (US$71,321) for the all-electric variation, features a massive heads-up display and automated driving capabilities intended expressly for urban environments.

  • Aito, in collaboration with Huawei and Seres, has received over 100,000 reservations for its Aito M9 SUV.

  • The M9 SUV has already delivered over 15,000 units, making it the top-selling model in the luxury SUV market segment in China.

  • Major luxury brands such as Porsche, Maserati, and Lamborghini experienced declines in their May sales in China.
