Google unveiled its latest Pixel ecosystem at Made by Google 2026 event, introducing the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold alongside the Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag. Powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, the Pixel 11 series puts Gemini intelligence at the centre of the experience. But the loudest reactions came when Google demonstrated features designed to solve familiar, everyday frustrations.

The Pixel 11 Pro’s camera produced one of the event’s biggest “wow” moments. Its new telephoto system offers up to 120x zoom, prompting host Trevor Noah to call the results "insane". Instant Night Sight is also four times faster, while the new Magic Capture mode analyses roughly 400 video frames to automatically extract the best still photographs.
Battery life earned clear applause. Google says the Pro models can run for 30 hours, while a 15-minute charge provides up to 15 hours of use. The company promises similarly rapid charging for the Pixel Watch 5, with 15 minutes delivering almost a full day of battery.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also got a hardware upgrade. Google says that it is three times more durable than the previous version, with a nearly crack-proof rear cover and a hinge tested through more than 83 million folds, a figure that drew another astonished reaction.
Another crowd-pleaser was Pixel’s upgraded voice typing. During a live demonstration, Noah spoke naturally, changed his wording mid-sentence and added off-topic remarks. Gemini converted it into a clean message by interpreting what he meant, not merely transcribing every word. The successful demo drew applause, while live multilingual switching and instant translation earned another impressed reaction from the audience.
Accessibility was another highlight. Sign To Text lets users communicate in American Sign Language through the Pixel keyboard, including when writing messages or prompting Gemini. It recognises one- and two-handed signing as well as facial expressions used for grammar and tone. The demonstration, developed with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, received sustained applause.

Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch 5 adds Health Guardian features for monitoring insulin resistance and blood pressure trends. Google also announced Breathing Emergency Detection, which can contact emergency services and share the wearer’s location when dangerously low oxygen levels are detected. Availability will initially be limited by region.

Rounding out the lineup is Pixel Tag, a slim Android tracker for wallets and keys arriving later this year, plus upgraded adaptive noise cancellation for Pixel Buds Pro 2. Pricing: Pixel 11 - From S$1,299
Pixel 11 Pro - From S$1,599
