According to famed leaker Assemble Debug, buyers who purchase the Pixel 9 Pro will receive a free one-year subscription to Google's Premium AI model, Gemini Advanced. This exclusive offer is expected to be worth hundreds of pounds, resulting in huge savings for active AI users.

Gemini Advanced, which is presently exclusively available as part of a monthly Google One AI Premium membership for US$239 per year, provides advanced AI capabilities and special features. The information regarding this intriguing feature was discovered in the code of the most recent beta version of the Google app on Android. While it cannot be assured at this time, it does provide clear proof of Google's plans to improve the Pixel 9 series launch.

According to the rumour, the one-year free Gemini Advanced subscription may be limited to the higher-end Pixel Pro and Pixel Pro XL devices. On the other hand, the entry-level Pixel 9 might offer a more limited six-month free access to this premium AI model.

Text found within the app states, "Your Pixel Pro gives you access to a 1-year subscription to Gemini Advanced, our most capable AI model with priority access to new features, at no cost to you." However, another text piece in the code hints that some Pixel 9 smartphones, most notably the basic Pixel 9, may only receive six months of free Gemini Advanced access.

Google's premium AI model, Gemini Advanced, competes directly with well-known rivals including Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT. It will replace Google Assistant on Android smartphones, allowing users to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into their smartphone experience.

Gemini Advanced's premium features include access to the latest Gemini 1.5 Pro model, a one-million-token context window for processing larger inputs and documents, and integration with Gmail, Google Docs, and other apps for AI assistance with tasks like as writing, summarising, and producing spreadsheets. Furthermore, the ad promises "new and exclusive" features, which have yet to be revealed.

While a one-year membership to Google One AI Premium, which includes Gemini Advanced, is presently priced at $239, it is crucial to note that this subscription provides additional benefits beyond the AI model. The single Google One Premium subscription, without Gemini Advanced, costs US$99 per year. As a result, Gemini Advanced is anticipated to add around US$140 to the Pixel 9 series bundle over the course of one year.

For individuals who want to try out Gemini Advanced before committing, Google One AI Premium offers a one-month free trial. This allows consumers to have firsthand familiarity with Gemini Advanced's capabilities and assess its value.
