Google and PayPal have announced a new partnership to roll out artificial intelligence-powered solutions and integrate PayPal payment capabilities across various Google products. This collaboration aims to enhance services, security, and the overall user experience on Google platforms.

PayPal-branded checkout, Hyperwallet, and Payouts solutions will now be integrated into a range of Google products. Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer of Google parent Alphabet, stated, "Through this partnership, PayPal will use our industry-leading AI to enhance services and security, and we will more deeply integrate PayPal's innovative payment capabilities for a better experience across Google products and platforms.”
Mr. Pichai also mentioned that Google would more deeply integrate PayPal’s innovative payment capabilities for an improved experience across its products and platforms. PayPal’s Enterprise Payments will serve as a key payment provider.
Enterprise Payments will process card payments across products such as Google Cloud and Google Play, among others.

Separately, PayPal partnered earlier this month with Perplexity, an artificial intelligence startup. This agreement offers PayPal users early access to Perplexity’s new AI-powered Comet browser.
The early access includes a 12-month trial of Perplexity’s Pro subscription. Perplexity provides artificial intelligence search tools that deliver information summaries to its users.
