Cooler Master Unveils the Orb X, an Immersive, Dome-Shaped Computing Pod
When all you want to do is cut yourself from the world and completely immerse in a game, there's probably nothing better than a multi-purpose computing pod.

Cooler Master has just the thing with the Orb X, an immersive, dome-shaped gaming and entertainment (and perhaps even work) station that comes complete with screens and speakers. For speakers, you have the option to configure the pod with either a single 34-inch monitor or up to three 27-inch panels. Meanwhile, for speakers, you get a 2.1 built-in surround system that consists of two full-range speakers, two tweeters and a subwoofer.

The pod incorporates a futuristic aesthetic, highlighted by the semi-enclosed, orb-shaped design and the ARGB LED light strips that line the edges. Speaking of the LED strips, they come with eight different lighting modes and are compatible with Cooler Master's MasterPlus+ software.
Cooler Master touts that the reclining chair is made from “genuine leather" and features an adjustable headrest, leg rest and lumbar support. The pod also includes a desk that's capable of gliding to the side to help you slip inside without hitting anything.

Other cool features include a compartment for storing your PC or console, wireless charging support and a USB hub with three USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a headset jack.
It’s worth mentioning that you’ll have to supply your own gaming system to go with the Orb X. But what’s convenient is that a lot of the wiring is already taken care of, which means you’ll just have to plug and play,
Cooler Master has yet to announce pricing and release details for the Orb X. However, you can already sign up to be part of a waiting list via CMODX, so that you can be notified once pre-orders are up. The pod comes in white and black colourways.
