The Q5 robot features 44 degrees of freedom and a human-like build, enabling it to navigate complex indoor environments and interact naturally with people. It uses fused LiDAR and stereo vision to move autonomously with minimal human oversight.

Standing 1.65 metres tall and weighing 70 kilograms, Q5 is equipped with 7-DoF robotic arms that can reach up to 1.38 metres and extend over 2 metres. Its compact frame, measuring 582 mm by 519 mm, allows it to operate efficiently in tight spaces.

The robot’s XHAND Lite, an 11-DoF robotic hand, mimics the size and dexterity of a human hand. It can carry up to 10 kilograms per arm and responds up to 10 times per second, ensuring smooth and safe handling through force-controlled joints.

Q5 supports full-body teleoperation using VR systems and sensor gloves, allowing for precise remote control. Its AI-powered voice system enables fast, context-aware dialogue with high recognition accuracy.

Powered by the EraAI platform, Q5 supports a full AI lifecycle, including data collection, model training, simulation, deployment, and closed-loop learning. It operates for over four hours on a 60V power supply.

Robotera, founded in Aug. 2023 with backing from Tsinghua University, is also known for its STAR1 humanoid robot. STAR1 has 55 degrees of freedom and can perform tasks such as cooking dumplings, steaming buns, and pouring wine with high precision.

STAR1’s five-fingered XHAND1 features 12 degrees of freedom and tactile sensors that detect surface textures and temperature. It can perform 10 clicks per second and integrates with the Apple Vision Pro for virtual interaction.

Robotera aims to deploy its humanoid robots in sectors such as healthcare, retail, tourism, and education.
