China has established the world's largest and most extensive 5G network infrastructure over the past five years. By the end of September, the nation had approximately 4.71 million 5G base stations, bolstering its cyber infrastructure.

This figure represents a net increase of 455,000 base stations from the end of last year. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology provided this data.
