Bose Unveils New SoundLink Max: The Ultimate Waterproof Wireless Speaker

Bose introduces the SoundLink Max, a new addition to its SoundLink Bluetooth speaker range. Features Bose Articulated Array technology for immersive stereo sound. Custom-designed passive radiators deliver powerful bass and advanced digital signal processing minimises distortion.

This portable speaker is packed with power, built to withstand the elements, and delivers the signature big Bose sound that has made the brand a household name.

One of the standout features of the SoundLink Max is its Bose Articulated Array technology. By utilising three drivers positioned across the front of the speaker, it creates an immersive stereo soundstage that fills the room. Whether you're hosting a party or simply enjoying your favorite tunes, this speaker is designed to deliver an exceptional audio experience.

To ensure a rich and balanced sound, the SoundLink Max is equipped with custom-designed passive radiators that provide a deep and powerful bass. Bose's advanced digital signal processing technology minimises distortion, allowing the speaker to reproduce every instrument and clear vocals with remarkable clarity. No matter where you place the speaker or where you're listening from, you can expect a full and natural sound.

The SoundLink Max offers adjustable EQ settings through the Bose app, allowing you to fine-tune the bass, mid-range, and treble to suit your preferences. Its sleek enclosure is made from powder-coated steel and wrapped in silicone, giving it a premium look and feel. Not only does this construction provide durability, but it also ensures resistance to corrosion, UV light, and everyday bumps and knocks.

With an IP67 rating, the SoundLink Max is built to withstand water, dust, rust, and shocks. This makes it the perfect companion for poolside parties, boat trips, beach outings, and park picnics. Weighing just 2.27kg, it is designed for portability and features an integrated and detachable rope handle for easy carrying. For added convenience, an optional rope carrying strap is also available, along with four optional color handle accessories to personalise the speaker's appearance.

When it comes to battery life, the SoundLink Max won't let you down. It boasts an impressive 20 hours of playtime on a single charge, ensuring that the party can go on all day and night. Additionally, the speaker is equipped with a USB-C port, allowing you to charge your mobile devices and keep the music streaming without interruption.

The SoundLink Max will be available in two stylish finishes: Black and Blue Dusk. It offers seamless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.3 and supports SBC and AAC audio codecs, making it compatible with all Bluetooth sources, including Apple iPhones. For audiophiles seeking high-definition audio, the speaker also supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sound technology, which utilises the aptX™ Adaptive codec for lossless streaming. This ensures a superior listening experience, especially when paired with premium Android devices.

In terms of convenience, the SoundLink Max features Google Fast Pair, making Bluetooth pairing with Android devices effortless. It also includes an AUX input, allowing you to enjoy music from legacy devices with a 3.5mm audio jack, such as vinyl turntables or CD players. The speaker even has a shortcut button that can be customised for AUX switching or to enable Spotify Tap.

The SoundLink Max will be available for purchase starting from June 4, with a price tag of $399 / £399 / €449. Pre-orders will be open from May 14, so make sure to secure yours and experience the ultimate wireless speaker from Bose.
