Targetting content creators and gamers, ASUS Republic of Gamers has launched its ROG Zephyrus M16 (GU603) with an immersive 16-inch display and the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor in a slim 15-inch chassis.
The 16-inch display also boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and Adaptive-Sync, with a redesigned display cable allowing for ultra-narrow bezels that are only 4.6mm on all four sides, resulting in an immersive 94% screen to body ratio.
The screen also has a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, PANTONE-validated colours across 100% of the cinema-grade DCI-P3 colour gamut and Dolby Vision support.
Powered by Intel’s latest processors, users can expect high-performance whether for content creation or gaming. Meanwhile, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU provides high frame rates and ray-tracing technology for the latest games. It also has ROG Intelligent Cooling that keeps it running smoothly while consistently delivering the best CPU and GPU performance.
The laptop also comes with a six-speaker system that makes use of dual force-cancelling woofers, which is enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology.
There's also a 3D mic to capture clearer audio while its Two-Way AI Noise Cancellation is able to effectively remove unwanted background noise, which is great news for people who might want to make video calls with their laptop and such.
Another clear benefit of the ROG Zephyrus M16 is its sleek and slim design providing users with awesome portability, thanks to its 19.9mm thickness and 1.9kg weight. It maintains a cool, sleek look through its Off Black tint matched with Prismatic Film that is visible through CNC-milled perforations, making it a definite eye-catcher any place you may be.
Aside from being designed to be highly portable, the ROG Zephyrus M16 also provides comprehensive connectivity. It has enough ports that make it much easier for users to accomplish their creative projects, do their everyday tasks and of course, play. Its Thunderbolt 4 port can drive two 4K displays at 60Hz or a single 8K monitor. It also provides lightning-fast access to media and other data when connected to external drives. Users won’t have a problem charging their laptop as well as their other devices through this port, even the ones that make use of Type-C USB. There's also a separate Type-C port as well as a pair of Type-A USB ports so that users have enough room for other devices.
Another highly-important feature is its Wi-Fi 6 connectivity that enables users to make the most of faster wireless networks while its Ethernet jack offers the ability for wired connection. It also has a MicroSD card reader so you can easily access your media files from your camera or other devices.
The ROG Zephyrus M16 (GU603) also has a stealth-type keyboard with a desktop layout that makes it easier to type and with less noise. The size of the touchpad is 20% bigger and ensures faster processing for greater accuracy and an improved tracking experience.
Additional features are its integrated webcam and fingerprint sensor that makes it easier to stay connected and more secure to log in. Users will be glad to know that the ROG Zephyrus M16 (GU603) has also improved its camera to offer the best of 2DNR and 3DNR technologies to keep them looking their best when they log onto their video calls or take photos. Meanwhile, its fingerprint sensor is integrated into its power button for a seamless Windows Hello experience.
With so much to offer, ASUS’ latest is primed to keep up with the more discerning demands of gamers and content creators today. To promote its release, ROG has collaborated with local singer EstelleFly through the song, “Rise Up.”
“When I started writing the track, the slogan for ROG which is 'Rise Up, Join the Republic' was the main catalyst for me. I wanted the track to emulate and bring an energy, where anyone who listens to it would feel like they are brave to rise up against adversity, which is what ROG represents. Bringing together a community of gamers who dare to challenge the norm and constantly push beyond the limits being placed upon them. It's an absolute honour being able to be a part of this and it's been a dream working with the Republic Of Gamers,” shared the singer.
The “Rise Up” music video will premiere today at 9 PM on the Republic of Gamers Facebook page and the song will be available on music streaming platforms from 10th Dec 2021.
